When I initially posted this it was kind of a tongue in cheek pat on the back to all the Special Ops guys. Since then, and as you all know, there have been numerous posting and news of their exploits.

I like that did they ever make that into a poster. Thinking on it I may have only seen one NAVY poster in my life. Great picture and thanks for posting it.o where is the worst duty station you’ve ever been to and why you disliked them? Non-combat duty stations

I live in 29 palms Ca. Here is just a fun little fact: The Army sold the Marine Corps this base here in 29 Palms for a dollar because it was uninhabitable.

Canadian prisoner Omar Khadr, accused of killing an American soldier during a raid on an al-Qaida compound, is scheduled to go to trial Aug. 9 at the U.S. base in Cuba. So I’ve been in the Air National Guard almost 2 yrs now and I’ve been trying to find information on transfering to active duty. No one seems to have a straight answer for me so please if you have any knowledge on this topic please share. I like the guard, I never could have done some of the things I have done without the guard, I’d just like to do and see more. Idealy I’d like to crosstrain from firefighter to SF so any information on crosstraining would also be appreciated.
